Anyone hear of a bigger motor in the 2015 Phazer? My dealer said yes, but I have heard that before. One can only hope.

Wouldn't a bigger motor Phazer just be a Nytro?

Hard to say. YAMAHA has a gap, nothing between 80hp Phazer and the Genesis 120. Could be smart as Ski-Doo just filled it (sort of) with their 90hp ace. I think a 100hp engine would really round out what Yamaha has to offer to the masses.

I work for a yam/cat/brp dealer. The 900 ace is a sled you put your grandpa on. Never ever should be compared to a phazer. At this point, all you hear is speculation, we have to be patient. I'd be pumped for a 100hp phazer, but it's highly doubtful. What you'll probably see its a rebadged cat with a 4stroke twin replacing the amazingly unique phazer. Time will tell.

I know there is room for a bigger twin in the current chassis. A few tweaks to the front suspension and a 100hp motor would make a fine "upgrade" and it seems they are keeping the vector around a bit longer so they could also toss the same bigger twin in that chassis also for a "value" touring/trail sled. I know my Phazer has taken a ton of abuse and keeps on going and works quite well for what it was intended to be, an ACTIVE rider, rough trail/ditch/boondock machine.
Bng, haha. I absolutely love my phazer. I've had 3 of them, there's nothing like it.

It's still July and I'm already looking forward to the winter -
I expect my recently upgraded Phazer will last 2 or 3 more years, but d I'm going into research mode this coming winter -
Plan to rent a 900 ACE, and a Viper. Anything else I should try that may be similar to the Phazer in terms of riding position and fun factor ( and maybe more power?). I have low expectations of the ACE, didn't like the 600 etec I rented. Rode a demo viper and it just felt huge, but only rode it a few miles.
Really hoping for something different in 2016, there isn't any 2015 I'd drop the money on now. If 2016 came with an upgraded Phazer or 4stroke similar to the old sno pro 500, or maybe a 100-120HP 4 stroke in the new Axys chassis I'd at least have something to consider.
