Hey, does anyone know a good spot spot mount a spare belt on my new sled? Have tunnel bag but don't really want to put it in there. Any ideas would be great! Thanks.

lots of guys are mounting them on top of the belt guard over the clutches. The make brackets you can rivet in and the belt stays warm and pliable in there. I used to just zip tie mine in there through the vent holes, but now have to much stuff in there to fit the belt. (horn Beep-Beep, GPS tracking unit). Other guys have mounted them to the side door panel or in the area under the clutches but don't like that they get pretty dirty unless you would wrap them or put them in a big zip lock bag

I just zip tied myn to the clutch guard.

You don't even need this clip but I am an overkill kind of guy! Just use bolt that is already there.

I riveted a couple pieces of double sided velcro.

Simple enough and looks like this works better than the "stuff it in there" method that I've been using.

I like this better than "stuff it in" because it doesn't push out on the side panel and coolant bottle. Nice work.

boy you would think by now no sled would come without belt storage I guess with cat they could not figure out how to get 3 in there to get you thru a weekend with their clutches so they went with none lol.

That is what the little pouch in the tunnel is for. Your belt and tool kit fut ub it.

I put my spare belt in a zip lock bag ( to keep it clean of belt dust ) and placed it under the drive clutch's in the belly pan and then put a small short bungie cord over the top of it so it don't move or bounce around. This clears up any clutter above the clutch guard and emptys out the bag in back of the seat.
