Looking Good Alain459! Graphics really pop on the red. Did/is your dealer do the fuel line recall I talked to my dealer today and they said they have been notified of the recall and they need to inspect and order parts if needed. I'm dropping mine off at the dealer Saturday to add the seat heater switch that Yamaha forgot to install. The dealer said that they have a replacement panel with the switch hole (from Yamaha). He said that when you add the seat heater the switch hole is cut into the panel, but he/Yamaha wanted the panel with the hole in it already like it's supposed to be new on the DX. I also let him know about the loose panel screw and he assured me it would be fixed to my satisfaction. So off to the dealer Saturday and I'll let everyone know how the recall and repairs are handled when it's complete.
Football is starting, sleds arriving, time to get the guest SXR-700 ready to roll and the R-TX-DX fixes done before the snow flies. Everybody ready?

Looks sharp!
And that $#!+ eating grin on the little guy's face is priceless.
I haven't got the call yet. I take it that the other unit that they received wasn't my RTX LE?
P.S. While you are at it maybe see if you can find someone who can work a digital caliper and get us some keel measurements from the skis

Sorry - I didn't ask about other sleds while I was there. I'll try to get some measurements on the skis this weekend between beers!

Dropped my rtxdx off at the dealer today for fuel line recall/check, heater switch/panel fix, and under wind shield panel screw retainer fix. Dealer checked for the fuel line recall on my VIN and it did not need the replacement/fix.

Found this in a Snow Goer article:Sorry - I didn't ask about other sleds while I was there. I'll try to get some measurements on the skis this weekend between beers!
"Shocks and colors set apart the SR Viper R-TX LE from the SR Viper R-TX SE, but a key shared element is the pair of new Deep-Keel Tuner skis. Keels on the dual-keel skis are 5mm deeper, and the keel profile is steeper — both employed to deliver more bite, especially in loose snow."

Picked up the Viper R-TX-DX today and the heater switch was installed with the new panel. The loose screw under the windshield was replaced, repair slip said "striped". So, back at home and poised and waiting for the snow to fly. I need to get a battery maintainer on it now as it sits loosely covered in the trailer. Worked with my son today and greased the 01 SXR-700. He's very excited to be taking over that sled so now he's learning what it takes to get it ready.

SXR's don't take a lot of maintenance between seasons, that will also keep him happy!
