so I see another guy had this issue but I couldn’t get an answer I’m running a 2015 mtx with a mpi kit upgraded to run 8 lbs. every time I go to take off it’ll rev to the point of clutch engagement then shut its self down. I originally was thinking water in the fuel but I put the pickup line directly into a clean can of 111 and it’s still having the same issue. Has this happened to anyone else? Or am I missing something really obvious? I’m new to the four stroke world and would appreciate any insight some of you more experienced guys might have before I pay an arm and a leg for shop time

Give me some more info? How did it run prior to the 8lbs change? Did you do the upgrade?

The sled ran like a top both at 6 and 8 pounds I’ve put about 400 miles on it since going to 8 and it hasn’t skipped a beat. This is the first real issue I’ve ever had the local dealer did the upgrade. I’ll adjust throttle cable and see where that gets me thanks
