Hey guys, I’m sure there’s something very simple I missing here but for the life of me I can’t figure out what it is. I have also search through multiple threads and can’t seem to find what I’m looking for.
I just upgraded to a 160 pound spring on the front shock of my 2015 XTX.
(suspension is still in the sled.)
I disconnected the top shock mount from the upper arm and did the spring swap without issue.
Now I can’t get the top mount holes to line up with the shock’s mount. Any suggestions, I’m off by approximately quarter inch.
Ps: this is my first time working on this suspension. Previous Nytro owner.
Thanks guys and sorry for the stupid question.

Reduce the spring pre-load and then use a screw driver or drift punch to compress the shock to align it.

Thanks Tom,
I have the sled up in the air and the preload completely backed off the shock. Thinking I might drop the air out of the Float 3 and see if that gives me what I need. I tried to line up one side with a punch and start the bolt from the other side but no luck. Seems like something simple I’m just overlooking but no luck so far.
