well...its actually arrived at this point. Still at the dealers getting as few accessories installed.

went with the blue and white, added medium smoked windshield(may remove), hand guards and a tunnel bag.

Cant wait for snow! Coming from my Vector RS, it should be quite a difference.

btw is there any substantial difference between 2014 and 2015?

Also, my friend just got a 2014 Assault 800...hopefully I can keep up with him.

i put the mid windshield on mine its fkn ugly but itll keep you warm
they make whats called a sport low windshield iam gonna take a look at that one.

I kept the original windshield just in case.

Cant wait for it to snow!

You may want to look at the sport low windshield. It looks like it gives you more coverage than the factory low.

In my opinion you are going to need new skis and a clutch kit (or do it yourself clutch kit) if 2015 XTX has same clutch as 2014 XTX. Viper out of the box with stock clutching may disappoint you.

damn as if I haven't already spent enough lol. Ive seen a few clutch kits from different sources. The Uhlmer racing one seems to give most detail on the product.

As for the skis, the dealer said the 2015 had new style skis vs. the 2014, is it still recommended I swap them out?

I don't know if anyone has run the 2015 skis yet. The XTX does have a bad push with the 2014 skis and the uncoupled skid. I tried woody's dual 8" bars on the stock skis and still did not like the response. I had a pair of Simmons skis with 2 8" carbides on each and it tamed the front a bit but still pushes in a hard corner. I am coupling my rear suspension and changing from the Evol Rc2 front shocks to the Axis coil over resevior clickers. I anm going to play with the sway bar also, part of the problem is the front is way flat and does not cause the outside ski to bite.

the skis usually end up a rider preference thing. i would recomend trying it 1st to see if you want to replace them for your riding style/area.
