2015 yamaha viper mtx build

Got the second anti stab kit installed fits perfect. Ran sled thru the stroke of suspension. Gets close but doesn’t touch as far as I can tell.
Also pulled the front apart to replace worn bushings and had to do some aluminum welding on the frame that the steering column bolts to as it was cracked and the hole was oblonged.

Pics of the anti stab and repairs to aluminum.
Used an old stick welder

Check the shaft going through the center spring! Mine was bent so I ordered a reinforced one.

viper december trip.jpg
took first trip on it. completely new machine. wheelies like no tomorow.

so far all the mods done:

clutching
bdx running boards
zbroz skid spring
relocated front skid shock
relocate the front idler wheels
and some other mods

mods for the future:

mainway solutions bellcrank kit
mainway solutions greaseable front suspension kit
possibly aftermarket skis
would still like to find a 3" paddle track

so far the sled is fantastic

Also. Has anyone ever done a 3 in straight pipe on the viper turbo.
I think it currently has a 2 or 2-1/2
Just curious if it would change the tone at all.
Thanks

doubt it would do anything. 3" could start to let air feck with the AF ratios on the short little muffler.

srry nevermind on the track, my bro wants to keep it

Mainway solutions bell crank bushings.
Had to do some fixing so figured I’d do this while I’m in there. have the grease ale a arm kits I’ll do this summer.
install was simple. And perfect. the bushings fit in perfect. I put a little anti seize on them. mused a bearing driver on the bottom one first. And tapped it in with a good sized rubber mallet.
than I used a bolt and some washers as a puller to pull the top one in.
Pics to follow.

Put in ice age bomber rails and fox float 3 evil in the rear.
3” power law track.
Re geared to xtx gear ratio
Put in powder hound drivers

Has anyone ever taken the factory seat and made a storage compartment in the back? Kinda like the old sleds?

That seat idea is the equivalent of a car with pop-up headlights! I swapped to skinz, so maybe I'll give it a try on my original seat soon.
Might also install a brakelight to the seat, like sx vipers had.

Did some looking yesterday at the seat. Unfortunately the battery is in the way.

I did a tail light relocate on my 7000 when installed a carbon fiber tunnel. (didn't want to mount the tail light on my new CF tunnel) Was pretty happy with the results!
