Just checked chaincase and it's filled to opening and oil is milky. How could this happen. If bad seal is would think level would be down from leaking not over full. Last season I changed it and filled to proper level.
Doesn't the chain case also have a top oil seal underneath the back side of the chain case that could be comprised and allow water to by-pass and fill up chain case.
could it have forced water/ice in through the drive axle in the tunnel? i agree it is weird. i always have some moisture in mine and they are stored in sealed trailer with a running de humidifier.
