normally i just read these threads and laugh, but the other night i was in japan eating sushi with a yushi yakamoto and yaki sugimoto,
They both confirmed everything in this thread to be true.
In fact they said everything you read on the internet is true.

I had lunch with them a month ago , they took me out and I rode it .....man you guys are in for a treat , this thing is so bad a$$ , it's going to change this sport ..... They also said that the vmax 4 was coming back !!!!

My sources are legit. The 50th anniversary sled is a 100% exact match to the '68 SL350. You won't be able to tell the difference between a very nicely restored '68 or a brand new '18.
