2017 Apex/ 800 2-stroke SRX?

What the hell, I'll get in on the thread too...2 stroke would be cool but I think they are done with the 2 stroke sled market. Just my opinion though...

From my two sources, I didn't bring it up. They did. The 800 was brought up to me. I don't usually get involved with these threads, but its hard to deny the info I was told considering who brought it up.

Dealer told me last Saturday they're done with 2 strokes in the sled market Not saying dealer is right...but that's what I was told. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

What's going on with that 2016 vector engine?? We all know they unexpectedly changed the viper engine, but I remember seeing all sorts of talk about a redesigned engine for 2016 that was only gonna be used in the vector..a sled that the viper probably outsold 100:1...seems like they must be testing out something in that area?

Please tell me Mother Yamaha has an all new all Yamaha designed and built sled coming for us! Apex replacement? 800 SRX 2 stroke rumors? I plan on buying a 50th Anni. sled for 2018 model year. But only if it's an all Yamaha sled!!!

Imagine if the 50th anniversary Apex is virtually the same as the 40th? Only Yamaha would have the audacity to do that and call it a new sled.

800 2 stroke is in the works. I CAN NOT WAIT!! Its been in testing for the last 3-4 years. Whether or not it'll be a trail sled or mtn is unknown..

normally i just read these threads and laugh, but the other night i was in japan eating sushi with a yushi yakamoto and yaki sugimoto,
They both confirmed everything in this thread to be true.
In fact they said everything you read on the internet is true.

Obviously the most likely scenario. Maybe Yamaha builds the newly designed Cat motor? A newly 800 2-stroke designed and built by Yamaha is a pipe dream in my opinion. I would love to be wrong about that but doubtful. I highly doubt you will see a newly designed 800 in a Cat or Yamaha in 2017 regardless.

Well it would be pretty BA to see Yamaha go back to a 2 stroke... I personally think it will never happen. BIG SRX guy so it would be cool to see them bring it back. Only one way to fine out... March 1st.
