I just ordered a 2018 SW LTX LE. I am going to swap the track to a 1.6 Ice Cobra. If the 2018's come set up the same as the 2017, my sled should have 9T driver and 21/41 gearing. I plan to keep the 9T. Should I change out the 21 gear for a 22 while everything is apart? Has anyone ran a 22 top gear with a 1.6 Cobra track? I don't plan to put in a Tune for at least the first year. I'm worried the combination of the 1.6 with the 9T, 22 top gear and stock tune will take away too much bottom end. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Do you ride mostly groomed trails ? If so, I would be worried about the durability of the lugs on a sled with that much power. The Camso rep talked me out of that track for my turbo Viper

We ride eastern UP about 50% trails, 50% off trail.

1200+ U.P. miles on my ice cobra and am very happy with the track and it still looks to be in great condition. Can definitely feel the studs helping with traction on ice trails/roads when you let off the throttle when feeling a skid occuring. Straightens you right out. Deeper lugs give great bite on the looser and deeper snow on U.P. trails. I'm running a 22 top gear in anticipation of getting my tunes for next season (put it in at my 500 mile service and chaincase fluid change). I can tell it's there but the sled is still stupid fast accelerating.

Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Good point about the gear swap at the 500 mile service. That way I don't need to decide right away.
