Do a search for skis. Consensus with most is stock skis dont work. As for ride dont jump to any conclusions till the 500mi mark. Springs and shock break in. Welcome to TY and keep us informed.

Doo 6.9 Pilots,Curve Skis,Cat skis. Some guys like the Tuners with SnoTrackers they are the only ones I have heard good things about tuner skis.

The cheapest alternative may be the stock Arctic Cat skis (or as above any of the 2014 Viper skis because they were the AC skis). You can pick up the skis online brand new from any of the Arctic Cat, or Yamaha, parts dealers for @ $200 complete. If you are lucky, you can find a used pair on Craigslist or a local swap site. They are a good stock ski, and if you spend another $175-200 on Snow Trackers, you will have a ski that steers easily, does not dart, and holds the trail like a train on tracks. I have set up two Vipers and a Sidewinder with the AC skis/snowtracker combos, and they are all great rides.

If you have the 137" LTX DX, you have decent coil-over shocks, and it should give you a good ride after they are broken in. Again, if you want to spend some money on better shocks, Fox QS3 adjustable shocks are an excellent choice, you can improve the ride substantially.

Try the 2014 SR-Viper RTX stock ski. With the right carbide it can be a very good ski in most conditions.
That is exactly what I ran on my 2104 LTX with Slim Jims, handled great. Is actually a stock Cat ski.
