Will a 2018 windshield from a Apex fit a 2018 Vector. Want to install a larger windshield than the stock one without the metal rods behind the windshield. Saw a 2018 Apex with a larger windshield with brackets attached to the panel next to the speedo cluster.

That windshield is too tall. The one I saw on a 2018 Apex was a little smaller but larger than a medium windshield.

The 2011-2018 Apex style windshields will not fit a Vector or the previous generation 06-10 Apex models as the mounting locations to hold the windshield onto the dash have changed and the lower side portion of the windshield has been replaced by side fairings. It could be done if you wanted to buy all the dash pieces and side fairings but wouldn't really be cost effective as you would have $300-400 in doing that... Take a close look at the pics below and you will see how the side fairings are on the lower sides of the apex windshields and the different mounting locations for the windshield.
