I think the 1049cc will be gone from the Viper, go in with the SW NA motor. The may even rename the winder a SRX for top dog status? The insurance companies hit you hard for the over 1k cc surcharge, my Apex is much cheaper to insure then my buddies Viper due to his being over 1000 cc.

Agreed with the Viper being gone, look at last year's sled selection how much they trimmed back the Viper lineup and replaced them with the sidewinder

Assuming its the new sled, in the beginning it shows push button kill switch not rocker switch like current, whatever that may indicate.

IMO Undisputed must be taken into context of the video, and if its racing a 2stroke SRX , then it is reasonable to assume that the new sled is the Undisputed fastest 2 stroke made by Yamaha , perhaps fastest triple 2 stroke ever made by Yamaha. Otherwise its just rhetoric a.k.a. BS

Since we are all over the board on this , Here is a thought.

When the Winder came out We wondered why it wasn't called an SRX
The name would have fit the sled but it was called something that was not in Yamaha's vocabulary.
We called it a Yama-cat, But it was actually a Cat-aha !
IF...... there is a new SLED maybe the Name was Saved for a sled that IS Actually a YAMA-CAT
as in more DMA, not necessarily from Japan. "That ship has Sailed"
