2019 Yamaha Sidewinder LTX-SE Disappointing

Wasn’t looking at 141 in video. Shows ltx-se in the video then what they changed in 2019. Then didn’t receive that. Why make a video if you don’t give customer what is shown. I know look at spec sheet blah blah blah I never did that I know that. But at the same time don’t show the guy turning the dial and zoom in on it if that was never what you were going to get. Disappointed in Yamaha for sure
Agreed. That sucks.

I agree they shouldn't show someone adjusting a shock that doesn't come on the model they are referencing. However, he did say zero shock and there is a disclaimer in the first 20 seconds of the video.
Agree, they shouldn't show QS3. However, there is a disclaimer in the first 20 seconds that says models may not be as pictured. Also, the commentator does say zeros.
Personally, before dropping that much coin on anything, I do a lot more research than one video.

SE's never had the QS3's.

I see they come on the 141 XTX-SE for 2019 now however.

The vid says comes with Fox's Zeros. XTX-SE comes with QS3's in the Vid. OP didn't do his homework and didn't buy the model he wanted. Thats not Yamahas fault. Easy fix is just buy and put the QS3's on if thats what you want. The SE is priced accordingly, how could you not wonder why is the price that much lower on the SE?

We've all been through it. The 17 LTX LE's were supposed to come with an RR suspension. Now we're having to replace parts on our dime. You haven't been singled out!

It’s just annoying. Buying the most expensive sled out there. Over 20K Canadian and being disappointed. Unreal

Hopefully your disappointment will fade once you get to ride it. Welcome to a great source of information and support.

First off, I'm not the one with his head up his #*$&@...... It would appear that you are if we're indeed being real here..... You can't blame Yamaha for your incompetence and ordering the wrong model, and you can't come here all upset because YOU messed up and didn't order what you wanted. If I was Yamaha and you came to me with attitude I would tell you to go pack sand too.

It's very clear on Yamaha's website what sled comes with what suspension package. Took me all of two minutes to find this information out. Literature is also correct and accurate.
They say in the Vid you get upgraded Zero's and show QS3. They should have rebound control knob on the SE if they are like previous years, which is an upgrade over the a monotube with no rebound control knob.

SRX with Fox IQ3 is $17,599 US
LTX-LE with Fox IQ3 is 17,499 US
LTX-SE is 15,799 US and is the cheapest one in Yamaha's trail lineup. Fox® 1.5 Zero™ RC in front and Monotube Alum-HP GAS in rears.

XTX-LE with QS3 is $16,799 US
XTX-SE with QS3 is $16,299 US

Its too bad you messed up, but get over it and ride it, if you want better shocks you'll need to buy them or order the right model next time. The only one you can be mad with is YOURSELF because you didn't read the spec sheet or do any research. Thats not Yamaha's fault or ours so check your attitude.

MIC DROP !!! Pow!

At the time for spring order you couldn't find much info on the se, lucky to find a picture of one all they had was the le models and the dealers didn't have any brochures, i got the se because it's not worth $2000 more for an electric shock that was after the fact down graded also, if i don't like em i will revalve for a few hundred and be happy, so far what little i have ridden it is leaps and bounds ahead of my apexes so I'm good with it

Points have been made, now lets end the arguing guys

Where are you getting over '20k'?
That sled lists at $18400 and most dealers sell lower than that.
