2019s

Early reviews on 900t....most all the reviews say is "smooth"......and then in same breath say the 600 is an animal corner to corner....not what I wanted to hear. So it makes it sound like the 900t may be a real pooch down low. Decompressed 90hp engine may be quite laggy corner to corner.....

But the fact it costs more then their flagship 850xrs, I would think BRP would have to have the 900t being strong, and not a pooch. Just would have been alot more excited to hear something more then "smooth" when describing the new 900t.

What i do like, lightweight 4s in XRS G4 ergos.....with likely the best MPG 4s engine ever in 150hp range. That could be a game changer if it can keep belts on it, and can be "tuned" by aftermarket to sit around 175-190hp. Then it will have my attention.

For now it sounds like we are stuck trying to cure blowing belts and coolant lines ourselves.

I'd be surprised if Yamaha went to this iAct setup. I think they learned a thing or two from all the RA cable & EC solenoid tears, as they eventually did away with it altogether. Sure on the fly is neat and convenient, but I think the manual 3 position clicks is still better option.
I had an 2006 Apex Gt with electronic online shock. Great when it worked! Otherwise way too many problems with wires and solenoids. I couldn’t imagine having 4 electronic shocks to go bad. Hope they got it right!

That 900 ace motor got my attention on it’s first year. Knowing what skidoo offers for creature features added with a reliable 4 stroke that has 3 engine modes for added mpg, it would have made the perfect sled for my wife. Was in the market for a used 900 or an 11 and up vector, both great sleds with good mpg, but ride would go to the Doo I would think. Her back operation put a damper on that. But I wonder what the turbo will do to it’s stellar mpg?

Nice to see the snowmobile industry staying current and fresh with new designs, ideas for the future!
Go 4 strokes!!

How many extra belt holders do the 19’s come with? Oil jug holders? Sigh

BRP should have added LED headlight and new gauges....instead of using same ole crap for so many yrs. Not that the gauges are bad, but heck they are same for so long now. They just want guys to buy their access LED instead. grrr

I think MPG will be just one or two below the NA.....turbo does not typically change MPG much and in some cases can be better. If the 900t gets 16-18mpg, that will be a huge deal for range, and certainly catch my full attention.

Still have yet to see the Pdrive get good belt life.....so will see if the new fixed sheave cooling fins help with the massive heat from this yrs Pdrive models.

Not sure belt life could get any worse then a winder......:(

I’ve blown one belt. And that was after many passes at max boost. Since adjusting alignment my clutches are as cool as any clutch I’ve ever felt. I have zero belt fear when riding.

I like the 900t & the marketing department at Ski-doo. They took time to make sure they brought to this sport a "woman specific" snowmobile, in the 900t.

Very good.

They rate the mpg of the turbo 900 the same as the non turbo 900 ace. That would be amazing if it is indeed true.

That is not good to hear !

I have been getting 1100 on mine.

The 245 tune does not seem any harder on belts when compared to stock.

But I have been accustomed to many more miles per belt on all my past Yamaha sleds, even with the 2 stage turbo on the 4 lunger!
