2020 GT windshield

Anyone know which factory mirror goes on the STOCK 2020 LTX-GT windshield ? This windshield seems to be a one of a kind, factory mutant. Sorry but Yamahas accessories catalog is terrible. Do any of the Cat accessories fit this thing ?

Stock GT windshield for 2020 wont accommodate mirrors.

Accessory windshield was designed for mirrors and has pre-marked dimples for mirror installation. The windshield is a thicker poly-carbonate designed to reduce vibration in the mirrors when installed.

US Part numbers:
Windshield- SMA-8LR96-30-SM
Mirrors- 8LJ-F62A0-01-00
Mirror Mount Kit- SMA-8LJMR-AD-KT

Stock GT windshield for 2020 wont accommodate mirrors....

2020 accessory catalog (page 55) offers a Sidewinder Windshield Mirror Kit (P/N: 8LJ-F62A0-01-00 & SMA-8LJMR-AD-KT) or a Telescoping Sport Mirrors. Page 53 says the GT windshield is 19.25" high. I feel the windshield kit is better. Please let me know because I'll be fitting-out this sled with accessories over the summer. I'd also like to ask about a half dozen other accessories like Front Grab Bar, front/back skids, etc , and then there's Barn of Parts

Assuming I'm getting a owners manual when I pickup the sled in a couple of weeks where is the 2020 Service manual for the this snowmobile?? Yamahapubs.com fails to load??

It's Yamaha literature no.: LIT-CSGCS-20-20.

out of the box the mirrors should have come with the sled $18.2k asking and no mirrors is just plain irresponsible considering safety...I too will put mirrors on over the summer, it just got me a bit pissed when the first question from the dealer is "do you want mirrors added?'' so that meant do you want mirrors plus a medium windshield and pay $120/hour to install in labor...its truly a slap in the face for being a loyal Yamaha enthusiast. basically it feels like a being rolled..put on the mirrors for safety and pay us or take your chances because the first thing you want to do after buying such a nice sled is go riding asap. Don't get me wrong, the dealership was very good to me...but no mirrors from Yamaha. its like buying a new car...you kind of expect the carpets to come with it in the end...and a rear view mirror is a must to get inspected in any state.

oh, the owner manual does come with the sled, a safety booklet too...just no mirrors lol

And the mirrors cost MORE than the windshield. Then talk about getting ROLLED, now you have buy a mount kit for the mirrors.

lol...I just read that on the accessories page...it doesn't end !! you need a medium windshield and the mirrors...not sure about the mount kit..if so then they are selling each possible component ala cart...

BOP has got some mirrors, and other things...maybe worth checking out for comparison..Travis has allot of aftermarket stuff..

I'm sure they know it...the stock windshield is something they threw onto the machine..kinda like packaging material...they know mirrors are needed and a stronger windshield material to support the mirrors...it just costs them more to produce and why spend more when they are going to have customers who will buy the better shield and mirrors...it doesn't seem right but it is what it is.
I love the new sled, its awesome, we got to pimp it out ourselves, that all.

Majority of the snowmobile models across all manufactures do not come with mirrors. It’s definitely a personal preference for all riders....some want them and others don’t, thus why the manufacturers provide them as accessories. Not sure this really warrants a nasty letter to Yamaha.
