Mrs. had an appointment in town and told me I was driving/coming when we got up and she saw the weather. I considered taking a room as I was leaving Whitehorse it was so bad. I told her this would go down in three parts ... the Alaska Hwy, the Tagish Road and the last hill home. These were the hurdles.
Alaska Hwy improved as we went south. Tagish road was not plowed but there had been traffic. Last quarter mile ... we are at the end of the road. Lost all traction with about 100 feet to go. Fired up the sled and gave the tow a little bump and it just walked up the hill with the car behind.
Coincidentally, on our last stop before leaving town we bought a new SUV ... our first AWD ... about time maybe.
