The rattle on my 22 is pretty bad with only 1000 miles or so and I even have nylon washers under the nut for the roller bolt.

Yup. My Poo and Doo friends all ask what the noise is and laugh. The laughter stops the minute they are eating my snow dust.
I have the Hurricane stub shaft this being its third season on my SW...as Dave said you will notice a huge difference.
