2021 sleds , check your chain case!

The Cats with new spindles rear is mounted in the upper hole all of them I have seen at least. Not sure what or why Yamaha would be different unless they were trying to get Tuners to turn and forgot they don’t have those anymore. Everything else is same. So...

Because the cats with new spindles are Tcats..... Which sit lower

Because dude. They advertise specifically the SRX and Tcat as sitting 1” lower ride height in 2020-2021. So theirs obviously something goddamn different.

Received my new ltx gt

I thought I’d check my sled over , glad I did.
The chain adjuster was screwed in tight! Not backed off at all. Secondly the chain case was half empty.

I know your gonna say that’s pdi and I agree but I dought many dealers do this. So check them !
Did you think the engineers and quality control would read TY and agree to send out the sleds with adjuster bolt backed off 1.5 turns....:)

Of course. Different springs. Maybe read post 20 where I said exactly that DUDE!

My point here is its obvious that since Cat has all the sleds in upper position it will in very least not hurt a thing since chassis and suspension is identical. Try it.

Dude I mean eightpilot, Cananondale is absolutely correct. The only thing different are the spring's on the T Cat and SRX. Yamaha for some reason decided to put the rear suspension bolts in the lower hole proabaly to try and get the tuner ski's to work, who knows I changed mine to the upper hole. All the Cat models are that way and they designed the chassis.

No. This post was to inform our fellow ty member so there first trip on there new sled would go well? You serious?

I am going to put a plug in for the setup guys out there. Does the Factory screw up? YES! Probably more so than in past. Did you the customer think that since you paid alot of $ for your sled that you should have it immediately upon delivery to the dealership or immediately when it was bought? Would be great to get that but some things are just meant to take time and knowledge. Setup is one of them. My advice stress the fact you as a customer are looking for quality and willing to wait for it. Think of the setup guy who has to do the #*$&@ jobs around the place and is pressured to do it fast. Or better yet do it a second time yourself.

DUDE, wheres my sled ? Good thing the snow is holding off. Things are freezing up nicely. Myself, I am going to try BOTH holes.

Ok I am sorry for saying DUDE first or I think I did. Just rode around the yard yesterday morning and realized how much I need to really ride! Its driving me nuts! Sorry Eightpilot.
