Yup you add a lot more parts when you put a turbo on and if its not prefect problems will show up fast.Sure wish the Turbos were not so prevalent. Too much too go wrong on a sled already.

I wish yamaha would get with the times and offer some more options. Or atleast put some r&d into something. I am a true blue fan but look at the options you get from Polaris and ski doo like luggage compartments, the odd shock option, colours, dash/gauge package. Look at the Polaris hand warmers you can set the temp. Skidoo and Polaris you can hook your phone to the dash, gps options. Buying a Yamaha now is like buying a Toyota, their behind on the times. And for the dealers around here to only bring in a handful of sleds a season is kinda stupid, I’m an impulse buyer and I know a lot of ppl who are, I don’t shop around with a plan to buy one I walk in for a belt or sliders and end up with a sled in my truck

Phone to color (split screen) dash is awful on 2021 BRPs. You have to manually re-connect with your phone every time you stop the motor. They have the system on Spiders yet no improvement. As for GPS it uses your phones GPS sensors with their app. Bad bad bad.

having to reconnect would get tiresome after a bit but what’s the big deal about it using your phone gps? Ideally it would be nice if it could support its own map like the Polaris dose

Its when you try to use your phone for music or to answer a call. All that interrupts the gps app and doesn't reconnect automatically. All that fun for a 1000$ option.
With Polaris you can leave your phone in your pocket where it belongs and track your friends on the GPS screen.

Polaris system is much better but i still dont like it. The maps are sporadic and seem to leave a lot out or are out of date maps. VVmapping and a garmin is 1000 time better the more i use it and see the PIDD. The drivesmart 61 also does calls, txt ect, But i disable that as i find it distracting. The only reason i dont go to the NS1 system is because they still dont have a very good interactive map for vvmapping.

Anyone hear anything about what’s possibly coming yet? I gotta say, there hasn’t been much talk lately lol.
8 pages later and Bueller still has not chimed in. What a slacker.

Power steering on a few models. Have to wait until the official release on March 9.

I like the idea of power steering, I could’ve used it the other day when the trails were hard as a rock. It takes a ton of effort to steer in those conditions. That’s really the only time I think it would be needed though...

And some Bravos
And some Enticers
Yeah this thread has less excitement than a Steely Dan concert.
