2022 Preorder build dates/delivery dates

There was a post on the SW Facebook page of someone that had theirs delivered but felt the seat seemed more purple than blue.

Is anyone else confused? I thought that Jaret's 12/17/21 video made it pretty clear that the 2022 Sidewinder LTX GT EPS sleds were the "ones most affected" by the delays, and delivery would not be until after the new year? It seems that everyone here, including me, are getting the word from our dealers that the EPS sleds are coming in the second half of February. Other than the one pictured above, has anyone seen a Sidewinder LTX DX EPS delivered to a dealer anywhere in the US or Canada? In the Canadian half of the video, it was mentioned that priority of delivery would be based upon the date of order. I don't know whether that is the case with US sleds, but I had my order in with an acknowledgment back from Yamaha on the 4th day of Power Surge.
I too ordered on day one of SPS, no news on my order from my dealer? Last info was first two weeks of January.

Just spoke with my dealer, my STX GT is in the Canadian warehouse should be delivered next week. Pickup scheduled for the first week in January. Yaahooooooooo!!!!!!
Sending dealer a text now.......

I don’t get why sold out models have been showing up like crazy but models like LTX GT which was still available to order right up to the end of SPS are so late.
As far as the much talked about supply chain issues seems like Yammy should have it easier than some other factorys cause Yamaha doesn’t give options when spring ordering such as color, track lengths, as well as probably other options.
That’s got to simplify the production

EPS modules are the issue causing the delay.

I believe cat only offered eps on thundercat, where as yamaha offered eps on multiple models, i hope in fairness of production that say cat uesed x number of eps units and yamaha was aloted the same number to disperse how they choose.

Who ever did the procurement for the parts should be fired. One day before the second half of December they push them out for 2 months. Just bad planning. I would like an explanation on that.

Couldn’t agree more

Spring order announcement video talked about Apex and Vector owners wanting EPS before trading up.
Yamaha must have been expecting a lot of orders for EPS sleds.
Hard to believe that their only shortage of components has to do with EPS

Even so, I am still hopeful for timely delivery

Semiconductor shortages at the supplier of the EPS just like auto industry would be my guess.
