2022 Preorder build dates/delivery dates

Port Yamaha delivered one on their facebook page. It said it was ordered the first day. Same as one pictured above.
Here it is. I ordered on day 2, so hoping for a Christmas miracle.

Thats funny, the T cat that Lesters just tested and showed had the tiny bag

I got the call today !!!!!!!
Both of my spring order sleds , SRX and LTX GT EPS are cancelled !!!
Dealer had 25 % of their spring orders cancelled , and maybe more if they are not delivered by the end of February , they will be cancelled by Yamaha .
I thought I would atleast get the SRX .
Well I learned today it never hurts to ask , the worst that can happen is you get a No for an answer !
Went into a Yamaha dealer and asked , jokingly, if they had a 2022 SRX for sale .
They said NO , but heard there might be one somewhere in North western Ontario .
And with some help from my son and his contacts , I am now ,once again , the proud owner of a 2022 SRX !
Things were not looking good as my 17 needed some repairs once I knew I wasn't getting my spring ordered sleds , and it appears my back up sled has some issues , that makes it un rideable .
Now I just need to find studs .
I can't locate the talk about the best/ longest studs for the 1 " track , as I was originally going to put a 1.5" track , as most my riding is on twisty trails in Muskoka .
I found on my 17 it had way better traction with 1.6 studs than with 1.325 , and am trying to get that same traction , or as close to it , with the 1" track on the SRX , so that when I get the 270 SS flash , i will have great corner to corner .
Any help is appreciated , as I need to order the studs and backers tomorrow .

Nice!!! Never give up!!
as for the 1 inch track, it will never grab like that 1.25, 1.3, or 1.5. even with studs. Studs don't do much in loose snow, you need lug height. Riding buddies tried it on some T-cats. That 1 inch just spun but it was worse when trying to stop!!!!!

Like stain said, lug hight is important in looser snow, just ordered hornet stingers myself about a month ago, right from there web site, good site with lenghts and info, i just googled hornet snowmobile track studs.

Yup, same engine, same front suspension as the other sidewinders, but the heated seat same as the S-TX
SRX and LE has heated seat too.

GT seems to have same front spring as SRX. Still curious if the rear spring is same as SRX or they went with regular rear springs to add front ski pressure for better bite with EPS.

I don't believe that they lowered the rear-end of the GT, but if you want the SRX rear springs, it should be an easy swap. I think the LTX GT, particularly with the EPS, has the best features for a trail sled. It has the lowered front end of the SRX, but still has the 1.25" track. I know the SRX has the shift on the fly QS3's, but frankly, I prefer the dependability of manual adjustment. My buddy has the electronic shift, and while their performance has been good, they have not been perfect. I know the SRX is the "hot" sled, but the GT is the sled that Yamaha should be concentrating on, and it stinks that we have to wait until the end of February to get one!

He said that it may be at the warehouse but my delivery still shows January. He of course hopes it is in the warehouse as well lol.
My dealer checked in the system compared the order number against the Vin issued for that order to determine the location of the sled, it wasn't an assumption, your dealer should be able to check on the status of your order.
