Yamaha WANTS to sell you sled. They didn't do this on purpose. No one foresaw these circumstances.
These situations are unfortunate, but all manufactures are in the same boat, go look at the Polaris forums, those guys are livid. In fact, their situation is probably, no, it is, worse.
I too am waiting on an LTX-GT. I am on the fence whether to take it or not if it comes late. The anticipated price increase tells me I should take it, even if I trade or sell it next year.
I am not going to lose sleep over things I can't control.
strange times indeed....
I'd take it, and in the mean time pound the snot out of that RXC. You may enjoy it more than you think.
The dealer had no clue when my Dad's XTX would come in. They even told him not to sell his Sidewinder just in case.
Out of the blue he got the call that it had shipped. I hope for all of you that these sleds come in earlier than expected, just like the XTX.

Contacted my dealer yesterday about my L-TX GT EPS and found out that as of Tuesday it was showing a late December delivery date but when he checked yesterday it is now showing a February date. Ordered the last week of March. Of course I unfortunately sold my sled and ordered a new trailer which is supposed to arrive this week. I am soooo bummed. Sounds like I am far from alone in my disappointment.

I kind of disagree about this. People always think the manufactures will do something big on a special anniversary. More often it is just a sticker package.I think you would have seen the new chassis for 2022 because its cats 60th anniversary,
Cat did change its chassis on the 50th, but other than that I don't remember anyone doing anything special on a certain "anniversary.

I am actually excited to ride this sled. I think it will be a blast for the Vermont trails.I'd take it, and in the mean time pound the snot out of that RXC. You may enjoy it more than you think.
The more research I do on this sled, the more I find how special a model it is compared to a regular ZR chassis. It has a bunch of parts that are XRC or SX model only.

Sorry about the news. Thats sucks. Not to throw gas on the fire but have you spoken with the place you ordered your trailer from recently? The reason I ask is I ordered a trailer back in July with a 16wk delivery which put it at Nov 1st. I just spoke with them on Dec 13th and it’s still not even started yet as they are struggling with major supplies issues. Plywood, Roof coil, doors and aluminum among some of the items. I have now idea when I’m going to get it. Luckily I kept my 12ft Hybrid till the new one arrives.Contacted my dealer yesterday about my L-TX GT EPS and found out that as of Tuesday it was showing a late December delivery date but when he checked yesterday it is now showing a February date. Ordered the last week of March. Of course I unfortunately sold my sled and ordered a new trailer which is supposed to arrive this week. I am soooo bummed. Sure, make me feel more disappointed now...smile. Talked with the dealer the day before yesterday. They are expecting the trailer this week but, as you note, I don't think that the way things are that you can count on anything right now. The good news is that I now have months before I need it!

Ordered March 9th, no sign of a build yet. I was told by the dealer when the VIN is stamped they get notified of production start. I was told I would then receive a call...................................<sound of crickets>.........................................sad state of affairs. How about Jaret spouting off about the importance of ordering early
My order was March 10, the second day of SPS.
Hard to believe that all the sleds delivered thus far were ordered earlier than that

I think it is pretty clear that the Sidewinder LTX GT EPS sleds are the last ones off the line this year with a second half of February 2022 delivery. The only reason I can think of that they would be the last sleds would be a shortage or unavailability of the EPS units. Given the fact that Cat has already built and delivered EPS Thundercats, that is disturbing to say the least. Those of us who ordered Sidewinders with EPS have gotten a raw deal. Is it all Yamaha's fault, or is it the result of Yamaha's inferior position in the Yamaha/Arctic Cat partnership? If it was a true "partnership" one would think that the factory would have turned out proportionate numbers of EPS sleds for Cat and Yamaha. Some of us would still be waiting for our EPS sleds, but at least there would be some Thundercat riders keeping us company in the line.
