800 miles on 07 Attak now & 19-21 mpg solid. My doo buds are shakin their heads. I ride with 4 800 pt,s & 1 1000 mach Z . I am getting a consistent 19-21 mpg riding it very aggressively on groomed trails. The 1000 sdi doo is getting about 16 mpg & the 800 pt,s are getting about 12-14 mpg. My 06 Attak never ever saw better then 16 mpg. These are all in Canuck gallons which are 20% larger then a us gallon. My 06 Attak was about the same as the 800 pt,s. They all updated to 07 jetting(recall for midrange burndowns). Their mileage dropped & my 07 is way better then my 06! We have too much snow to drag test as our test 1/4 mile test strip has about 16" snow on it(sorry guys) but as soon as we get er packed down I should have some results!

at -12C handwarmers were hot at 1/2 setting. At full setting they fried my hands. Rpm,s are going up; especially down low. When I hit the throttle rpm,s go right to 10k & climb to 10,700 & stick(this is with stock weights & shockwave helix) in 24" powder they go to abour 10k & stay there. Stock primary clutching with shockwave helix seems to work great so far; nothing really quirky except it is very aggressive. Backshift is great on the trail but about the same as stock in powder( not great)

I got a smokin deal on a 07 plus we got a 3 year warranty in canada. My 06 was flawless except for inner idlers delaminating on the ty ride. I originally snowchecked the GT but really liked the looks of the Black regular attak & booked that instead.

I think there was something up with your 06. My 06 last year got 15 on the first tank then 17 on the second. That's with the smaller US gallons.

Am I missing something? Considering the metric conversion, Turk is getting the same mileage as most 06's. He must have had a bad 06.

Put a couple of hundred miles on this past week, 06 and 07 Apex. 07 was 1-2 MPG US better every time.

Only time my attak gets over 12 is when I'm being towed, which seems to happen every other time I go out.
My Attak is always the sled that detirmines how long we ride between fuel stops. Everyone else just needs to top up.
