Picked up the new sled and brought it up to northern Wisconsin. First new sled for me but I had to have the Final Edition.
Also bought the deluxe cover to go with it.
Not real happy about having the 1.6” Cobra track on it. It’s a soft track but I’ll run it for this season anyway. My ‘18 XTX 137 has a 1.75”, make more sense if they were the other way around.
Tucked ‘er in the garage with the collection and had to get some work done to the other sleds but I did manage to get the J&T kit installed.

Parts are starting to show up. I have the DMC gear in my other Winder so I decided to try the Hurricane with the bearing on this one.
Next was my BOP order. Got the cross shaft saver, the center shock lower shaft, billet adjuster holder for rear axle and the driveshaft saver.
Yeah, my dog always thinks anything that shows up is for him.
PrecisionEFI came today. Tensioner with skate, charge pipes, BOV and socks for fuel pump pickup. Need them for the other Winder and spares.
Going back up next weekend to get some of this installed and have to pull the ECM to send out for stage3 tune. I have a TD 2.5” quiet muffler I’m gonna run on this and I’m pulling the clutches off my ‘18 for this one and going with STM on the other.
Still need to order a few other parts but I’ll have this one ready for the first ride. Can’t wait to try this EPS.

Congratulations. So sad that we still have to add so many aftermarket parts to make it reliable after 9 years of production.
Dunno, i think it's more of an addiction than a necessity! Or the fact that 99% of us in this site have ADHD type A personality coupled with severe OCD and the lack of practical spending habits. Other than that we're all normal just doing what we enjoy!
P.S. Snowbound congrats, i just bought the same sled yesterday! I'll be sitting by the front door tomorrow patiently waiting for FedEx to deliver some replacement parts! Lol

For sure. But at least we know where Cat fell short and have these great guys that pick up the slack.Congratulations. So sad that we still have to add so many aftermarket parts to make it reliable after 9 years of production.
You may be right, it’s a little bit of both. Can’t ever leave well enough alone and preventative maintenance goes a long way. Won’t find me stuck trail side.Dunno, i think it's more of an addiction than a necessity!
