I have 4300 km on a XS825 belt, sled is stock though. All 4300 km have been in Northern Ontario and Northern Quebec which is mostly high speed running.
New belt going in for next season.

3 reasons.
1) I seldom race top end, just go fast in big fields or nice roads. Usually go as fast as I can (within reason of ability) without killing equipment. Not like the doo brappers ripping the tops off every mogul, or 300 foot spin marks out of every corner. They are so easy to pass too..lol...just a show.
2) Belt looked great, very little dust, almost no width wear.
3) I'm a dumbass.
Now you know the limit, change it every 2000 miles.
Just Loctite & retorque your stub shaft & clutch first.

Yep
Lost first 3 weekends due to rain
Lost one week due to chain case failure
Lost last 2 Maine weekends due to rain
Lost last week in Canada due to Corona
I'm serious about stub shaft though
My bud got 2000 miles on first belt then 500 after that until we redid his stub shaft & clutch

I know. Thanks! There's a few other things too to check too. Like drive axle again. For now, I'm social distancing myself from it.Yep

I don't know! I had Aaron at Excell, service and check the sled and change the oil a year or so ago. I had zero issues, but did find the upper bushing slightly worn, and the tensioner screws loose, last fall, which we fixed. What is your offset at? Just curious.
I made a tool years ago to fix my rx1 pulley in the right place, instead of floating, but never touched my apex. I can check it someday.
