I am looking for a detailed write up on doing a cooler/heat exchanger mod to fit a 3" track in a Nytro Mtx. I thought I saw a good one a couple months ago with pics etc but have not been able to locate it again. Any help will be appreciated.

I'm looking for the same information. Only company i'm aware that doesn't the mod is CRracing in Canada. Is this something you can modify yourself?

I bought the modified cooler kit with the aluminum shield from someone that had it modified and it looks very similar to the CR Racing version. I already have the 3' track too. My sled is torn apart in the garage and I am trying to decide how much more to tear it apart as it is a bigger project than I expected. I am looking forward to having it done but was hoping to find the write up on the project. CR does have instructions but they are pretty basic and leave out a lot of detail for the do it yourselfer if you know what I mean.

I did it to my 10. No kit, cut and modified the cooler, added MPI tunnel coolers and modified the front portion of the tunnel. I had it down to the tunnel and side plates only. There's a lot of work to be done to the front portion of the tunnel! I recommend buying someone's kit.. CR or Terra (
