does anyone have a realiable 300 plus horse lake/trail setup.want to ride the lake all day and race on the 1000ft dragstrip with no problems.

You can run a 300 hp trail sled that is reliable but you have to qualifiy.

I don,t know what you guys are calling reliable I ran 18-20lbs last year with no problems in the steep and deep mostly mountain climbing, in the throttle hard all day. seems reliable to me, did not dyno it but should be in the 300hp range. that was with stock motor 3 head gaskets and strait 110. i did put low comp. psitons and rods in this year but plan on running same boost as last year maybe alittle more at times.

110 is kinda hard to find on the trail, where I ride anyway
Two headgaskets, lowcomp.pistons, 12 - 18 lbs and premium fuel works

well talked with jeff simons at cpr today and for you guys that said it can't be done your dead wrong.jeff was kind enough to spend 1/2 hour on the phone and pointed me in the right direction.this guy can make 300 hp with no problem at all, and can go up to 550,and it sounds like if you listen to what he tells you to do it can almost be bullet proof.if anybody is looking for a turbo setup,talk with jeff.hopefully soon i too will have a boost gauge and a ton of helmet giggles when i wack the throttle.i quess it just shows that you need to talk with the right people and someone that has a clue on how to make some real hp and this is why he has the record.
