I would like to here anyones experience of what they like or thoughts of the 35/39 vs 41/35 vs 35 , stock or boosted , performance ,
ill start off by saying I do have the srx , I do like the 35/39 in stock form , now I have boosted my sled and the 35/39 still feels good and works good up to the 300 hp mark , I also tried the 41/35 and it also feels good to ,both these helix seem to hold rpm very well up top also , as for belt heat , they both felt the same , can't really say 1 was cooler or hotter vs each helix , never did try the 35 , also I running the updated black /orange spring ,6-2 , I really thought by trying to complete different helixes , reverse vs forward I would have felt something different about these helixes, which honestly I didn't ,

When you try the two helix’s mark off 1000 ft, time it, STOP WATCH,one I’ll be quicker ET, 41/35 will be quicker . If you had a TD speedometer it measures ET in 60,500,660,1000, 1320 great tool. Top end you should feel no difference.

I’ve tried all 3 and a couple others and am running the 41/35.
41/35 was the quickest and holds rpm up top like the stock 35. Tested with my TD gps.

Just did 250 miles Saturday in central and NW Minnesota and 200 miles today with the 35/39 helix and TD orange seconderay. Stock secondary and bad rollers 2 blown belts. After new rollers one blown belt Since i put this secondary on I haven’t blown a belt. Pulled 109 on rr bed today several 100 mph short bursts. At 40 mph can pull the the skis off the ground when I pin it. No tune and Just Love the fun factor my Rtx has.

Hi bro,i also have that Dalton 41/35 what are the other combos you are now running with that helix? I also have daltons DTYA-1 I could run them empty, and I also have Dalton primary blu/blk for the primary, and I still have the old Dalton secondary or/blk spring. Hey is it your sled I saw a seat jack on,my friend may buy a leftover xtx 141 SW and install that seat on it,but his wife is a tall lady,in good shape but has some weight to hermit states the seat has a #225 lb limit, and if he did install it,would you add heavier torsion springs or just set your blocks to max and try it?I’ve tried all 3 and a couple others and am running the 41/35.

Actually stuck with the STM straight 38 helix. Stock secondary spring wrapped @ 6/1. Secondary spring pocket is machined out some. (Yamaha)>>Yellow/Green/Yellow primary spring, 911 cover, glide washers, Heavy Hitter weights base of 58.3 grams (heel 3.3 grams) (middle .9 grams) (tip 4.6 grams). 8dn belt. Eco trail tune. Over 4K with set up. 5200 miles now on sled. Played some with different secondary springs but went back to stocker secondary spring. New primary rollers and belt to start this year. Runs very cool and have not blown any belts with above set up.What set up are you running with your straight 38 I also are running that helix, its ulmers set up from my EVO tune, but now I have TD max 16 tune.

Awsome,i think your stm 38 is already relieved for any kind of spring,i may be wrong though. So you had your pocket on your secondary hub machined, about how much? .070 thou?Actually stuck with the STM straight 38 helix. Stock secondary spring wrapped @ 6/1. I ran the stock secondary springat 3/3 a lot also. Not a big diff between that and 6/1. IMO.

are certain helixes better for trail riding vs mountain riding or for short lug heights vs 2.25" tracks or once you have clutching setup it's good for both?
Short and quick answer......You need the right Helix for you're specific needs. Steeper helix typically for lake racers because it will give you better launch and shift out faster. Shallow helix for Mountain riders for better back shift and hold the shift longer. And somewhere in between for the typical trail rider, that's where the progressive helix sometimes comes into play.are certain helixes better for trail riding vs mountain riding or for short lug heights vs 2.25" tracks or once you have clutching setup it's good for both?
