Its time for a new belt, the Original looks like it would fail on my next ride if I used it, got all cracked up the last few hundred!
My new backup belt seems to have taken a pretty good set in the folded shape from being locked up in the belt carrier bag the last 4 years! Wear wise the old belt is less than a dimes thickness skinnier than the new belt.
Mean while, my buddies Doo 500ss that he purchased at the same time had gone through 4 belts!

I had almost 6000 miles on my original belt! Can't say the same for my buddy's XF800! 5 belts in less than 1000mi!

Yamaha clutching is the best. I put 9000 kms or more on my last one.
