I had read in this mighty fine forum that this should be done be for you even ride it.
PS- I have been riding since the late sixties (geezer) and my last sled was an 05 GSX that pushed like it had no runners at all!
My sled befor that was a 03 Polaris 700 Classic with dooly's and this puppy would cut coners!
I don't want any disappointments from the get-go.

Welcome 06. This is the best sled forum I've seen yet for Yamaha riders.

I use 8" Woody's on my Vector with stock skis. I have 144 studs down the center. I also left a lot of transfer in the rear. Thing works really well for me in the corners.

Anyone have any issues with the Bergstrom ski savers?

Mine broke apart of the front basically making a big "Y" shape. I removed them on the trail. Wondering what I did wrong, or if I even really need em.
