4 Sidewinders 1 trailer

I should say that I have a 22' Triton plus V nose and an ATC 22' plus V nose and 4 LTX's fill either one.
 

Yeah, I mean end for end the 2 Winders would be 20' 10" so given the fact that they will overlap it shouldn't be an issue. I read a whole lot of posts on other forums and guys are putting 4 mountain sleds in a 20 ft trailer.
 
Sled is 124" long, the snowflap is just a touch longer. The ski stance is 48.5" (outside edge to outside edge). Its ~60" from rear bumper to filler or ~44" from front bar to filler. For four sleds I would think you would need a 24' trailer. We used a 20'x8' car hauler a couple of years ago and I do not believe we could have gotten a fourth sled in it without pulling skis and getting creative.
Thanks, I estimated the fill being about 5.5' feet from the grab bar. I told them to put the gas door 6 feet from the rear ramp. I just didn't want to be that guy that forgets to have the tank full before we travel! Lol

Mountain sleds are narrow. It is easier to jam them up tight together into a small space.

It's not the skid length that gets in the way it's ski stance/spindle width that gets in the way of packing them in.
 
Behind the snow flap there is lots of room, its the foot hold beside the spindle where the problem exist.

That depends on the width of the trailer though. A 101" wide has no limitations to width of each individual sled. I know when I had my inline we had to get creative loading but ever since we went to an over deck 101" we just drive in and clamp them down.
 
Oh yeah I know, my days with a 101" deck over are way behind me. Bought the Triton in 2002 and will never go back to pulling a big deck over. The room is nice but, it grabs the wind easier too. Still tow using diesel power but the inline pulls so easy.
 
I’m curious how you plan to tie them down if the bumpers are all touching and skis straddling the one infront. I have a 129 sidewinder and bought the mrs a 137 vr1, my 23’ inline fits 2 driving in from back staggered in the 18’ box without getting in the v. We went to maine year ago and with both our sleds and my dads srx we were door to door all driven in through front All 23’. so 22 if you can pull tighter will “work” but again not sure how to tie down
 
We shall see. Worst case I'll install some D rings to ratchet strap the skids down and stagger the sleds back to back. I will definitely post some pictures with it fully loaded when I take delivery in 6 to 8 weeks.

Lots of guys don't tie down. Its hard to upset a modern sled and get it to move around between suspension travel and carbides/studs/rubber having a lot of friction agains the floor. I have seen lots of guys pull packed trailers with no tie downs just fine. I personally tie them down. E-track makes it easy no matter the layout of sleds.

Legend makes a 7.5' trailer- my buddy has a 22' plus the v- we had no problems with 3 137" and 1 141" sleds- can always "69" the back two sleds- not a lot of fun backing a sled into the trailer but I've worked a lot harder trying to get into that position in my younger years........

That’s a great plan till you have them about touching an any movement will bounce them off eachother. Also I do t want a 20-25,000 sled going through the tin on a 15-20-25,000 trailer because I didn’t wanna use a $10 strap. I do know a lot don’t use them and also seen the carnage of it when hitting brakes hard or sharp turn. Heaven forbid an accident.
