42,000kms!!!

My dad basically just retired (in the process) and wants to get back into sledding. I’ve been telling him to get a viper for years now. Says he doesn’t want a turbo. Ok np.
He used to be a Yamaha dealer when he had his equipment rental business years ago so he knows all about Yamaha reliability. I think this guy that he just talked to really helped my dad make up his mind on which sled to buy.

Anyways, he ran into a guy the other day that told him he put 42,000kms on his 2016 viper! These are the texts my dad sent me yesterday.


“Just talked to a guy yesterday with 42,000.00 k on his viper
2016”

I thought this was one was hilarious!!

“He said he went out on sled for lunch one day, came back 8 days later. Just couldn’t stop. Says wife was pissed”.

Thought I’d pass this along...

That is a ton of KM's in a short period of time. He must not work in the winter and ride everyday...….all day the entire winter

We did about 3500kms this season and by the end of it we were almost sick of sledding. I get that way around 3000kms or so for some reason. That’s definitely a lot of kms in a short period of time. Supposedly this guy has a paving company in the penetanguishene area. So he probably has the winters off.
