Arctic Cat is touting that they have their clutches worked out thsi year. 30% cooler running and no blown belts. But they don't mention that Yamaha is the one who helped them get it figured out.

To the posters who think that any 2 stroke will last as long as a 4 stroke needs to go back to school.

Also let's not forget that HP is nothing but the end result of a mathematical formula. Torque is REAL. So in the end that is why you hear stories of 150HP Apex machines running with much higher HP sleds , namely 2 strokes.

Cat can claim all they want if a sled only made it 100 miles on a belt sometimes less a 30\\% increase isnt too hard to get.

Yes the secondary clutch angle on the 2014 Cat is almost exactly the same as Yamaha now. Who here thinks that was anything other than Yamaha helping?
