Anyone know where to find the 45/41 helix. I'm running the new secondary (reverse) that now has a straight 43. I get a slight bog at take off then wound the secondary spring tighter which helped. I think a 41 start should work great.

I have no idea. I was repeating what I read on the forum. I know I definitely need to start with the 41. My 43 gives me a bog from a standstill at full throttle. I wound the spring to the next hole and it got considerably better so the 41 should work.

Thanks for the link. I looked at the page but missed the helix and only $84.

Now I need clarification on the profile so I order correctly.

Sounds like a straight 41* might be what you need. It would be easy to find and cheap.

I'm running around 85mph and rpm's around 11,100. I have seen 90 once last year when conditions were perfect.

My understanding is that the standings bog is caused from a to quick an up shift. The belt digs into the secondary to quick and also rides up the primary. Go with a steeper helix and this prevents this. So the question is, is and steeper helix angle and lower or higher number?

Your rpm could be a touch higher, I think a a 41* will help your bog AND get your top rpm up a little. A 45 will shift even faster and bog more IMO.

What track are you running

I was going to go to the 41 but got the idea from forum member NOS-PRO who said his multi angle 45/41 worked better than the 41.

I'm running the stock 144 with the 2" paddle. Strange thing is when a swapped from the 121 to the 144 I actually picked up 5mph. Go figure.

Oh I see. I think you have a different issue . Stock primary? Any rivets in the weights? I think he is running a 121x1, so needs entirely different clutching

I would not up your angle with a 144x2. That is SIGNIFICANTLY more track to spin than the 121.

My speed was all over the place too, upgraded the track and secondary and I think it just reads more accurate now. Who knows though?!

Maybe some one else will chime in but my advice is a 41 straight helix.

That the strange thing. Sled got fasert with the longer track. Maybe I'll hit up NOS- PRO and see if he wants to sell that 41.
