Why do you think that the mod destroyed the bearings?.

I'm thinking of doing this on my Turbo RX1 Mountain -03, but not if it will destroy the bearings of course.

Anyone who has done this mod, please write what you think about it!.

No idea how moving your steering forward took out a drive brging??
I just did this mod this year & really only go to rid it for the first time this weekend.
Unbeilable differnece in riding the sled. Greatly improved climbing & sidehilling postition. The turning radius is really wide now but no big deal. Still handles well for trail riding. I just couldnt believe the standing up riding benefits it gave. Highly recommended.
I bought a used kit from someone on this site. Got all the peices & it didnt look right. Talked with WildChild & sent him what I had. He cleaned it all up a gave me new parts & pieces for what I was missing or wrong. Great guy to deal with. I will say just go to him straight away & get the kit. Super easy to install

I meant the other mod in this thread,on the rear suspension..
But the forward steering position is also something i will do this summer..
