5" RISER FITS PERFECT!

Thrusted Vecter, thanks for posting pics. So there are 4 holes total to drill. Anything else we should do?

Nope, that's it.Let me know how it works,oh,the easiest way to put skid back in is to loosen the transfer rods off about an inch, then put the skid back, also you don't need to take the skid all the way out.Leave the front bolts in.

I installed the new throttle cable last week. A++++++

GREAT product!

Thrusted Vector, drilled the holes you recomended and WOW WOW WOW the sled handles like a sports car. On the trails, I use to spin my tracks when I hammered it and now she bites. Powder turns are much easier and I could do it sitting down without any effort. I'm beginning to feel like a pro. Sled feels so different. Thanks ;)!

I am not sure about the holes, I must have missed something. What are you doing with the holes and bracket? What sled and why? Sounds like something I should try.

YaMon, Thrusted Vector (Lincoln) recomended lowering the sled by drilling holes above the brackets (see his pictures). I have an 03 RX mountain with the stock suspention and MPI transfer kit. I said to myself, what the heck, it was free and I didn't have to buy anything else and probably lost .0002 grams from drilling the holes and if I didn't like it, I'd put it back.
What a difference, I would think doing the opposite by raising the sled would work but actually its the opposite. The weight of the front transferred to the rear.
Thrusted Vector has a shop--Vision Motorsport and he's currently working on Jimmy Blazes Vector. Blaze is in Braaap IV DVD, you should see what he can do with that RX.
I took the sled out for the first time (after the in install) last Saturday, we had 2 feet of powder and about 10 feet of base. I tell you, even my friends were shocked. They thought I placed an after market skid. I was just bopping on the powder like it was nothing.

Very cool. I wonder if it would work on my 05 Vector Mtn. It has the new skid, but I would like to get the weight off the front end. I have the limiter straps all the way out, transfer all the way and the front end still tanks.

Thanks Lincoln, Do you mean compress the spring more? Will this put more pressure on the skid and take some off the front skis?
