03 rx1mtn came with 8 tooth drivers. The 9 tooth drivers are bigger in diameter which would pull the track farther forward in the slots that adjust it . It's not designed for that setup with the 151 track, Ken.

I think you might be able to switch to the 9 tooth driver by way of going to a shorter lug than the stock 2 inches, to maybe a 1.25 -1.5 lug height. the clearance should allow a larger driver.

I did realize that I would have to go to a shorter lug with the larger drivers for clearance.Hoping to hear from someone that has installed the same combo .Thanks Todd.

I have installed the 9 tooth drivers, 1 1/4" X 151 with no extra mods to the suspension on my 03 RX1 Mountain.

Take a die grinder, dremel etc and make the slots a little longer in your rails for the addition adjustment that you need. It will probably only takes a 1/4 inch to gain what you need. Or if the track is new, just run it at the current tightness. After a couple hundred miles the adjustment should be perfect and you will be set.

It is a Ripsaw 9924, I purchased from Tracks Usa. I didn't have to do any modifacation at all. The adjustments are all the way in, or as loose as I could get it just to have it where I want. After it has a couple of hundred miles, it will loosen up more.
