$9000.00 for 05' with Holz & 159", seat, pipe....??

I have an opportunity to purchase a "Demo" 05' RX-1 Mnt has 1600 killometers with these mods:

Excell exhaust
clutch kit
Mnt. Mod seat
rider forward
lite battery
high bars
full warranty for around $9000.00 from a dealer near me........ your thoughts .......
Saving the 1500.00 is it worth it or will I be wishing I had just bought the Apex SE ? Blue book on the sled is around 6500.00 US stock, all work will be done by an experienced dealer. They also have a demo Apex but it's in Canada and they want to much for it 13000.00 canadian with floats for an 06' with around a thousand miles by next fall. (when I'd buy it) Yamaha Canada is just screwing those guys BIG time! your opinions are as always APPRECIATED!

I say buy it that sounds like a sick sled and i think you would be really happy with it... and with the money your saving you can buy a turbo for it.but either way your not goign to go wrong.And if you want a apex my grandpa has one fro sae with 120 kms on it only ridden on teh trail fro those and hes asking 11500 canadian.cheers

The RX-1 sounds sweet if we can work out the whole deal it would be nice, Your grandpa has an Apex Mnt. for 11500.00 or just the regular Apex. I want the Mnt. version. I feel for all the Canadian riders having to pay 14000.00 to 15000.00 for an Apex that's only 10500.00 in the states.......that really sucks , for the consumer and the dealer!
