New to the forum and i love it!
I just received my oillite bushings from barcode and have been surfing on here trying to find a step by step on replacing the bushings on a 2008 nytro. I can't seem to find a tutorial. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

Take all front plastic off the sled. Remove bolts holding a arms on. Either the lower or uppers have the nuts welded on so no need to hold them with a wrench. Other you'll need to hold as you turn bolt out. I took a small drill bit and cut the old plastic bushings out, punched out with flat screwdriver. New ones can be pressed in various ways, I used a large c clamp, others buy a threaded rod, few washers and a couple nuts and press them in that way. You said you got yours from barcode, the ones they were selling on sale I remeber mentioned something about being slightly smaller o.d and didn't need to be pressed in, in which case you would just pop them in with your hand.

Your going to have to glue those undersized bushings in the a-arm tubes. I'm not a fan of doing this but Barcode says they've ran them with no problem. Check with them to see what they used to hold them in place. I prefer the Nylatron bushings sold by Pioneer Performance. When reassembling the a-arms make sure you use loctite on the bolts. The Yamaha lock nuts are junk and tend to loosen so anytime you take one apart use loctite on it when putting it back together.

If you use red loctite don't gob it on, just make sure the threads have a thin coat - that is all you need. If it is dripping-off, dont continue to assemble - wipe it off.
You will know what I mean one day when you go to take them off. lol

I've been mostly using blue with no issues. Typically the red requires a little heat to break loose. When not heated, I've seen bolts break before the red loctite broke loose.

I prefer the Blue loctite as well as it is easier to get apart the next time and I have not had any issues with things coming apart. I use red on rare occasions because you will have to heat it and some things are just to hard to get to and heat them without damage to wiring etc that's close by.

jremps just noticed you said you have a 08 Nytro. Our bushings wont fit the 08 upper arms. Our test sled is a 09 xtx. Sorry for the confusion. Ill edit our post to reflect this. Had one guy from eBay also do this. Please ask before you buy.

Ill send you a PM just in case also. Im happy to refund you the $65Cnd soon as I get them back.
