Just a couple of pictures from my last trip to the UP of Michigan on 3/9. The person taking the photos was a little premature in taking them as most of the photos seem to me taken before I even get the sled leveled out in the air, but they're not bad for first time action photos taken by my coworker and his neighbor that were with me on the trip. Hope you enjoy.

I checked my suspension before and after these pics, and all seems to be fine so far. I even checked the linkage that has been reported to break and mine seems to be welded all the way around. My sled has a build date of 10/2006. Don't know if they changed it on the different production date sleds. I can tell you that I was hating this new Phazer at first when I got it. I had to put a lot of time into it to get it setup to work right. After this last ride it might just hang around for another year. I think I finally got things working half way decent. I'm still waiting for the sleds to catch up with the level of quality in the production dirt bikes though. This crap about putting adjustments on one end of the suspension and not the other really made me mad. The back end of these sleds are real busy and the rebound is way to fast no matter what you do, and you have no adjustments to make it any better. It made me real hesitant in jumping the sled and riding hard in the rough trails. You never could tell when the back end was going to kick out unexpectedly and put you into the woods. A couple times I thought I saw God. Luckily the front suspension is great once you get it dialed in, and it saved my butt. The suspension is going out for a revalve this summer and hopefully that will help it behave a little more controlled. Until then I will just leave my hard rides to my bike (see below) and take it easy on the sled.

Yea, I know what you mean! What Phaze5 wrote was kind of hard to read with no punctuation. It took me three or four times reading it to understand what he said. I think I got it though. And thanks, it was a fun riding the sled this last ride after working the bugs out all year. 1825 miles total. Many trips to the dealer for warranty work, a little less hair after pulling some out, some custom made parts, a couple necessary add on parts, three sets of hyfax, and a lot less gas than anyone else I rode with this year. All and all a better ride than any other sleds I've had, but a lot more of a headache and maintenance nightmare. A step in the right direction, but not quite there yet. We'll see where Yamaha takes this too. Hopefully in the right direction.

If those jumps break the suspension then I am in some major trouble!

Have many jumps like that on my fx and havent broken anything. I also have read that yamaha have a updated suspension part if the stock "problem" part breaks so I think you should jump with it and have fun. If anything happens I'm sure yamaha will take care of it.
