A few questions I was hoping you guys can help me with.

Well I would like to understand on how it applies to all clutches if that is possible.

But I would also like to know a good setup for a vmax clutch on a Phazer FX.

Thank you

First number is sheave position (1, 2, or 3). Second number is helix or "torque cam" number (0, 3, 6, 9). Different combinations will preload the spring a certain number of degrees.

If you have a 41* helix and a black-green spring I would recommend starting at 50* and see how it feels. That would be sheave hole 2, helix hole 3.

Look at attached diagram here and see if it makes sense... Its very quick and easy to change your settings on the YVX clutch, compared to the old POS clutch with the spring retainer.

Somebody chime in if I have explained this wrong.

Crazy Dave. Yamahas has you covered with his answers.

As for your center shock a shock from the 2 stroke viper is for sure a direct fit also. The rear shock on Phazer is the most important.
Any chance you know what years will fit the Phazer?
I see some on eBay but they have different lengths? Maybe it's just them measuring different be they go from 12. 7/8" up to 13.5".
