reay like other people on here said they did do big mountian changes what a lot of moutian guys wanted and pick up a little bit more of the mountain market from others on the apex they fixed the hand warmers(well see) new wheels last year it was the heat extanger there just improving on perfection to move some new ones do you really think the apex it out dated i ride dads all the time and it i would say it was made ahead of its time i mean we have never been passed and if people know how to set these sled up they handle awsome i mean just last week we were racing these new xp's at 70 to 90 mph and dad passed one on the inside because the pushed into the turn so bad and this sceems to be the case with all the revs (or cats poos they usally try to race us then pull over) we come up im not very impressed and as far as weight i dont really understand that either because the apex feels far from heavy when your riding it it's like doo has put such a mind state out there that sleds have to be under 400 pounds that people who really are not hard core sledders just think yamahas heavy they suck its like a mass panic situation where someone says bomb and everyone runs but there is really no bomb people just follow. and do you think that in a global ression it would be a wise dession to relase a totally mind blowing sled that no one can afford to buy or maby just fix a couple compliants raise the price a little so people say o well i dont really need the 2010 i just get the left over 09 or 08 and save some money so they can clear out the dealerships for a new sled next year or when ever it comes because theres people that just buy new everyear anyway i mean they dont have to sell hundreds of thousand of apexs any more they defintley got there moneys wort out of that chassis because the dont do big changes every year thats what yamaha does there smart so at leat maby well get are new sled next year but for now im not dissapoined any neither should others really
