Everytime i go to my Yamaha dealer he smiles and asks if i brought a helmet with. I've test rode some toys, but not near what he's offered, i feel too guilty, lol.
That's neat - maybe things are changing! you must be a good customer!
I bought a Yamaha because I like the japanese quality and believed that a Yamaha would be equal to a Toyota or Honda in that regard. At first I was disappointed in the frontend quality and the icing issue. I have pretty well fixed the icing and am working on the front. This is the first sled I have ever modified and I must say it is enjoyable. VL owners benefit because the VL shares a lot of parts with the Phazer, therefore, aftermarket stuff is available, otherwise I think you would never see so many parts for a two-up trail machine.
Most of my toyz are Yamahas>dirtbikes, streetbikes, atvs and an srx sled.cant beat the reliability, the looks, engine, sound,no smoke and those tailpipes out the back..thats why i had to have one.
