Well its been about 3 years since I got out of sledding and for some reason I felt like maybe getting into it again. So i started shopping around... it started out that i was only getting a $1500 sled... then i couldn't find anything so i went up to a $4000 range... Well lots in that range but nothing that really turned me on.... So I started looking at new stuff.... and... Well heres what I ended up with....
its a new 09 nytro mtx... I ended up getting a really good deal on it and after checking all the other brands the only one that had something else at a reasonable price was polaris and well I am just not a polaris guy....
now all we need is some snow!!!

Nice sled.
Do you ride off trail or mountains alot? If not , there will be a few mods needed to make it a flat lander sled.
Good luck and bring on the snow!!

Clutching was one of the mods.
Ride it and see first, you may love the way it is now. If not this will give you a few things to work on.
The sled is a little on the tippy side from what Ive experienced with my cousins MTX.
So we installed a stiffer stabilizer bar.
Widened the ski stance by moving the ski bushings to the outside of the spindle.
Another thing that may help but we havent tried yet, is to get a handlebar riser "pivot" to get the rider farther forward instead of pushed back. Get with Superman for a riser. http://www.lakeffectsnow.com/
Like crewcheif said, you will love the motor, gobs of torque when ever you need it!
