even a slow ride is better than no ride and this looks like its going to be the last week.
Yours is acting very similar to what mine was doing, except in my case, when I WOT, the code would usually disappear! The sled would die at idle, and at low speeds it was difficult to keep going; however, if I could get it up to 35-40 mph, the code and engine light would disappear, and it would do 70-75 mph, maybe more. I would have to nurse it through tight corners and stop signs, but at trail speed there was no problem at all. Good luck, and enjoy your riding!I've been following your thread! I took it apart yesterday again and added dielectric grease to every connection I could find. Slid the tank back into place and it fired up and ran just fine with no code.... Put all the plastics on suited up and went for a ride. At WOT it loses power and throws code 33 again... I rode it anyhow
I'm going to take a better look at the pins in the connector and dig up the procedure for testing the coil.
For what it is worth on my Code 34 problem, they played with the pins in the plug that went to the coil, but the code kept coming back when the test rode it. They ultimately took the pins out of an old plug they had in the shop and replaced the pins in my harness. So far, at least for the first 170+ miles, the sled runs great, and the problem was solved. You may want to check to see if your pins are loose, or have any "play", in the plug.
