Out off all the bearing and tapered sleeve failures. Had any of you greased this bearing? I was wondering if the sleeve troubles were related to dry bearings and bearing heat and chatter???

my sleve backed out and then the secoundary heated up and the bushing came out and took the seal out the bearing it was still had lube in the bearing but the sleve was installed backwards witch allowed it to walk back and forth at will it was had to find till it it stuck out 1 time and did not get pushed back in by the secoundary. nothing holds this sleve in place on the 03. if its installed wrong the engine torqe will push it out at some point in time :roll:

My collar didnt come out but my bearing got smoked. I will be greasing all my bearings pretty regularly now!
