Guys, Rome wasn't built in a day. Lets see what Yamaha comes up with on the 05 skids. Lets' just try and have a decent discussion, without bringing problems of the rear skid frames. There are plenty of threads in the suspension topic, to voice the opinions of the rails, zerks, etc. If we keep it in the place where it is supposed to be, it makes everything nice and neat to find, and keeps the forum working properly.

Oh good god people. Wheres my buddy's letter of apology from cat because his engine blew up before even 300 miles this last year. Or my other buddy's letter of apology because his speedo broke (very common) on his cat? Or the letter of apology to my buddy from polaris for all the broken plastic gas caps which caused a day of no riding. Or the fact that his wifes pol would often refuse to stay running brand new. Or the confusion owners for burning out belts, vibrations, engine problems ect. Or do I even need to go into DOO? Some people still haven't gotten their problems straightened out.
Get a grip and stop whining. Mod's why do we have to put up with the incessant bitching anymore? It's been in several threads. CONSTRUCTIVE THREADS where it belongs. Does every other thread on here have to be incessant whining? Yes many had a problem with cracks and lack of zerks. It's been fixed for this year. Scream and yell to yamaha about your 05. Considering that some extra welds (from what I've read) will fix the problem is that really on par with other manufacturers problems? Especially considering the relatively trouble free 03's and 04's.
This thread was about getting a toy for those of us that pre-ordered. It was a nice little thing to get in the middle of summer (as others have said). Don't rain on my parade.

I was thrilled to see the toy Apex. I usually buy the toy model of any new sled I buy, so I was happy to get it for free this time. but I'm missing my 98 SRX. Anyone know if I can still get one and where? I don't care what year it is as long as it's an SRX (Blue of course)

If its the real deal call DesPlaines Yamaha. This is the moron that tried to move in on my sale w/ Highlands.
He found out I was comming off an SRX and said he had one (An 2002) still in the crate.

kenlacy: You, Sled dog and others that have a agenda about your 2005 sleds need to voice that in the RX-1 section.
Your RX-1 issues have nothing to do with the Apex.

Actually has more to do with Yamaha rather than just the RX's. Seld Dog was just venting because seems to have the time/energy/finances to devout to toys but not real issues. It is a valid point not an agenda and if you would realize it has more to do with the bigger picture. When people do not hold manu's responsible, it allows them to become less responsible in the future and more apt to leave a customer high and dry. So those people buying 06's should be just as concerned, in hopes that any problems that might arise will get taken care of.
Much like maybe if you did actually stand up for yourself with your 03, maybe there would be less problems for us today.
The internet is a powerful tool that enables the consumer to hold manu's to higher standards. That is all I am trying to do.

Whiners about whiners? That doesn't even make sense. It's more of a reality check. Theres a time and place for it all. Like jtssrx and others have said, that place is not here. Would be nice if the mods handed out certain people a couple day vacation. Maybe that would stop some of the idiocy.
The toys are all part of marketing, not production. Your "put that money into the sleds" comment isn't even valid. Otherwise you could complain that arctic cat's spending so much on advertising when they could use that money to have suzuki make their engines a lot more reliable. It doesn't work.

kenlacy: I'm one of the biggest complainers and Whiners on the site. However I generally don't piss on peoples good posts with my personal agendas unless the post specifically speaks to my complaint.
You posting 05 complaints on a post about Yamaha giving 06 snow checkers a toy makes no sense. I've been wrong many times. When I'm wrong I apologize. You need to be a man about this as well as Sled Dog and admit you were both wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
