I have 1100 miles on my Apex, 95% in primo snow. I just pulled my shock to install the heavier spring, and noticed what seems to be a oily film on the shock shaft. I've never noticed anything like that on a shock before, but it doesn't seem to be blown. I can compress the shock manually with my hands, and it returns very slowly, so I know there's some pressure in there. Just wondering if this is normal.

you can compress the shock with your hands? Thats not right, depending on where the comp adjustment is, you should have to put your weight on it to compress it. I blew one of those and I still had to lean on it to compress it.
